About
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at UW-Madison, where I'm advised by Ethan Cecchetti. I also frequently collaborate with Andrew K. Hirsch at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. My research is in the area of programming languages and type systems. I specifically focus on choreographic programming, a programming paradigm for deadlock-free message-passing concurrency.
I hold a Bachelor's degree (2018) and Master's degree (2019) in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. While completing these degrees, I worked in the Electro-Optical Systems Laboratory at the Georgia Tech Research Institute to improve and apply the EMADE AutoML genetic programming framework, including by incorporating a row polymorphic, type-directed program synthesis engine to improve algorithm success rates.
